Under 2’s

Understanding your child’s needs is fundamental to their successful growth and development. Aligning our practices with those of Emmi Pikler we have learnt to trust the child and their innate sense of what is right for them. Child led, peaceful, calm practices to ensure the best home away from home is our promise to you and your family. Fundamental to the delivery of this our primary carer approach - your child’s chosen “person” in our team who cares for the majority of their daily routine - sleep times, nappy change and feeding, and importantly communication with you.

General Daily Schedule

Our daily routines provide structure while remaining flexible, ensuring we can cater to your child’s individual needs.

8:00am – 9:30am
Children arrive, meet and greet parents and settle children

9:30am – 10:00am
Morning tea

11:30am – 12 noon
Lunch

12 noon
A range of activities set up inside and outside for children, reflecting development stages and current interests

Rolling morning tea

Care moments (sleep times, bottles and nappy change as required etc)

12:30pm
End of day

Sleep time for those who need it begins once children have finished their lunch, or as needed

4:30pm
Late snack for children staying later
