Feeding curiosity, building friendships and resilience, making sense of the world and learning those all important soft skills that will help our tamariki successfully transition into school and life beyond preschool is what we facilitate and support in our 2-6 year olds. Surrounded by nature indoors and out, is an everyday part of life at Gems.
General Daily Schedule
Our daily routines provide structure while remaining flexible, ensuring we can cater to your child’s individual needs.
8:00am – 9:30am
Children arrive, meet and greet parents and settle children
9:30am
A range of activities set up inside and outside for children reflecting current interests and developmental stages of the children
9:30am – 10:30am
Rolling morning tea
11:20am
Rolling mat times for age groups
12 noon
Lunch
Sleep time begins once children have finished their lunch, or as needed
12:30pm - through to the end of the day
