At Gems, we take pride in offering exclusive opportunities for talented educators and experienced educational leaders.

Currently, we have vacancies available in our Hive (3-5 year olds) for an exceptional Qualified Teacher within our family owned and operated childcare centres.

Do you want to be part of a family that prioritises wellbeing and the collective strength of the team?

Gems Educational Childcare is excited to announce new ownership under the Hitchins family that brings fresh perspectives and renewed energy to the three beloved centres. We continue the legacy of prioritising the wellbeing of the Gem’s team and the high-quality education of our children, ensuring a nurturing and inspiring environment for all. Join our family, where your professional growth and individual talents are celebrated and supported.

We are looking for teachers who are passionate about providing education and who share in our ideals. We take inspiration and guidance from Pikler and Reggio within the context of Te Whariki. We believe that a connection to ourselves, each other and our learning and natural environments both indoors and out, is essential for learning. We work as a cohesive team, but we also recognise that individual talents and interests are golden!

If you have a deep respect for children as small humans who thrive in our care, plus have teacher registration and proven practice in education, then please connect with us. We may even be able to help with relocation* to the mountains to share in our crisp air!
