Aya is originally from Japan. She arrived to New Zealand in 2010, and since then she has been cooking. Aya started as a kitchen hand, and then had experience at cafes and hotels as a chef. That’s how she became more passionate about food and nutrition. At the moment Aya enjoys cooking creative food and baking for children at Gems.
